Seek is designed to be user-friendly, requiring no registration or collection of personal data unless you opt to sign in with an iNaturalist account. If you do so, you must be over 13 or possess parental consent.

Seek will prompt you for permission to enable location services; however, your precise location is kept private to safeguard your privacy while providing species suggestions based on your general area. Your exact location is never stored or shared with iNaturalist unless you are signed into an iNaturalist account and choose to share your observations.
